The Beyonce Experience!

Disclaimer: Before anything else, I would like to apologize for the crappy quality of these photos. I was not able to bring my SLR camera in. I had to settle for my camphone. Huhuhu. Hopefully, I will be able to post better photos later.

OK! Ito na ang kwento... hayaan nyo akong magyabang at magpakasaya!

Early Wednesday morning, my special ticket source texts me to say that she has 2 Beyonce concert tickets! Ah! Meant to be talaga! Kasi naman, sa sobrang mahal ng ticket e walang gustong sumama sakin. Kaya naisip ko, kung mabibigyan ako ng source ko ng ticket, meant to be talaga na magkita kami ni Beyonce!

Ayan, hindi na ko nakapaghanda ng magandang damit, wala nang mga dalang camera, etc! Come lunch time, sugod ako sa office nya para kunin ang ticket, at super coordinate sa pinsan ko para magmeet kami to watch the show together. My eyes almost popped out when I saw that the ticket was for SVIP! Aaaah! Grabe na ang swerte na to!

Incidentally, my shoot for KNN is at Bonifacio High Street. Lalo tuloy akong kinabahan at na-excite upon seeing the concert area. As in handang handa na lahat, ang daming guards, may mga floating Globe balloons, at unti unting napupuno ang mga parking areas.

After the shoot, I met up with my cousin at Market Market to have a short dinner. Then we headed to the SVIP entrance! We're so underdressed pero kebs na! Graba lang naman ang sahig dun!

When we got to the area, we were so pleasantly surprised to be seated on the eighth row sa gitna. At eto pa, hindi monoblock ang upuan namin, may cushion! Here's our view... just before the people came in...

At SVIP kung SVIP na nga! Ang daming artista!

Grabe na, goddess sya! She and Marjorie were only an aisle away!

Martin Nievera (same row), Francine Prieto, Juliana Palermo, Toni Gonzaga and Direk Paul, Matteo (the race car driver), Pops Fernandez, Cesar and Sunshine Montano, Rachelle Ann Go with Jed Madela, Raymond and Ruffa Guttierez, Carmi Martin, Pheomela Barranda, Janno Gibbs and Bing Loyzaga with family, Carlo Aquino, Maja Salvador, Butch Francisco (ngek!), JM Rodriguez, Tessa Prieto Valdez, Tim Yap, Icy Mendoza, and even Butch Pichay! Siguro marami pang iba sa kabilang side.

After the front act na dineadma na mga tao, nagsara ang black velvet na curtain. After a few moments, itong si Beyonce, bigla na lang lumabas! Silver dress na suot nya sa ads, hinahangin-hangin ang buhok, walking slowly to the center of the stage, eyes blazing, mukhang apparition! WAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!

She opened with Crazy In Love no less! Grabe na ang booty-shaking! Pati ang super lambot na waist na umaalon-alon move! At ang kanyang mga mahabang palda ay see-through, para maaninag natin talaga ang kanyang legs! Super ganda din ng dance ng Baby Boy.

Ang galing ng mga dancers.

Nakakabaliw kasi I used to watch the Youtube video of Beyonce falling down the stairs all the time. Pati yung tumaas yung damit nya showing her boobs... tapos ayun na, yun mismo ang pinerform nya, yun mismo ang damit! As in nakakabaliw!

Super astig din ng all-female band ni Beyonce. Sila yung mga nagpe-play in between costume changes. Ang gaganda ng get-up nila at super talented. Kudos to Beyonce and the Suga Mama band!

Pinaka naenjoy ko is the sequence with the Destiny's Child songs. Kasi I'm a Destiny's Child fan more than a Beyonce fan! Grabe na! Kinanta nya yung "Say My Name" sabi nya "Say Beyonce!" Sagot kami: BEYONCE!!! She sang Independent Women, Survivor, Jumpin' Jumpin', Bills, Soldier, etc!

But my ultimate faves are Listen and Irreplaceable. I almost cried when she sang Listen! Grabe. Ang ganda talaga ang pagkakanta. Ang powerful ng voice nya, natameme ang lahat! She did some licks na iba pa sa original song na super super ganda!

And when the intro of Irreplaceable came in everybody was on their toes. She made the crowd sing the whole first part and chorus only with the guitar... then she sang the whole thing again. Shucks! It was so nice! Nakakaiyak! Kinanta nya lang sa dulo, "Manila, you're irreplaceable!" That was the finale song, and kahit anong chant ng mga tao ng more at Beyonce, ay hindi na sya lumabas. Huhu.
